Common questions

What is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner?

Nutritional therapy is a personalized approach to health that uses food and nutrients to support the body’s natural healing processes. As a practitioner, I look for the nutritional imbalances or deficiencies that may be contributing to illness or poor wellbeing, then work with you on diet and lifestyle changes that fit your life and respect your bio-individuality.

What happens at a first session?

The first session is a free 30-minute introduction. I’ll explain the core ideas of nutritional therapy, describe the process we’d go through to identify and start addressing your health goals, and answer any questions you have.

Are meetings in person or online?

Either. Meetings can be in person or online. During the Balanced Body Reset, the check-ins between meetings happen by text or a brief phone call.

How do I get started?

Call 225.405.9252, email melissaeastinntp@gmail.com or send a message through the contact page. We’ll set up a free introductory session, and from there you can choose a single counseling session or the 12-week Balanced Body Reset.
